Oh, children, today...today I have so many things I could talk about. So many things cluttered up in this little head of mine. But, what I'm NOT going to talk about is how we haven't had water in our house in 2 days and I haven't showered in too many days, and I'm NOT going to mention how sorry I am, because that smell you smell right now? That stink? Yeah, that may or may not be (but it is) me.
So.
Moving on.
This is Benefactors' arsenal. Or, really, just a small portion of his arsenal. These are the weapons he and S.A.M. rounded up within a minutes' time in just our back yard alone. Did you know that every character Benefactor becomes requires a special sword crafted to his specifications? We've got the Peter Pan, the Captain Hook, the Nutcracker, the Ninja, the Jedi, the Karate-er, the Avatar, the Sword in the Stone That Isn't in The Stone Anymore, and oh so many more. If I had to quantify it all, I would say I average making him 3 swords / week - usually out of two sticks tied together with twine, rubber bands, twist ties, yarn, hair elastics, or pipe cleaners.
Here's James, trying so hard to not stick his fingers in the rising pizza dough. For some reason I thought it was super cute and funny, but that's because I'm his mom, and everything he does is super cute and funny.
It's a bird. It's a plane. It's super-Katie! S.A.M. and I fooled around taking pictures on Sunday. Basically he wanted an excuse to touch my precious, my sweet little camera baby. And I wanted an excuse to get some attention. This was the day I got all 6 of us up and dressed and out the door by eight (like every other Sunday) only to realize as we all headed toward the van that for specials today's church was at 10! This was also the day Tyler got to go back to bed for another hour and 45 minutes of that sleep stuff, the day we all survived Stake Conference, and the day I made everyone find their own snacky lunch for once because I just needed five minutes to relax outside with my perfectly behaved pretty little camera baby and the sun. It was a very full day.
That's about all that is on my mind, except going and putting this sleeping sack of baby in my arms into bed.
The End
See? I amazingly enough NEVER mentioned that plumbing is hard and stinking is harder.
