Friday was a most wonderful day.
The kids and I took a walk along the Little Colorado.
We hiked a couple of miles in the sun.
Then we cooled off on the banks of the river.
After hours of play, we went home.
We ate and ate and ate - we were famished!
Later that afternoon we went out for more hiking and fun
in the beautiful outdoors, this time with friends.
We visited some ruins, we checked out some horses,
we ran and played.
One of us even threw around some elk, um, stuff. (gross!)
Our friends came home with us.
They shared our FridayNightPizzaNight tradition.
Yum.
The only thing that could have made the day even more
wonderful
would be if Tyler was with us.

I just wrote a huge comment and it disappeared. grrr.
It said something like this: Beautiful pictures! Your adventures sound so wonderful. Meantime we are still stuck in our house. It is in the 20s today. Spring break is this week and it is supposed to hit a high of 40 something with wind, rain and snow. Blah blah blah. We have nothing to do. And so we just sit here and wait and wait and wait... I guess I will just have to sit here and read your blog and enjoy the adventures thru your eyes. We sure ain't having any here!!!
