Mademoiselle had been telling us the tooth would come out "today" for weeks. Then she started to get worried. She really wanted the tooth out before her birthday party. She went to bed the night before the party a bit disappointed, but so excited for the next day.

She came running into the living room 10 minutes later. The tooth was out!

She was so excited it took her quite a while to fall asleep. She made sure to show ALL kids and parents next morning as they came to her little flower party.

I have a favorite blog, and it's been my secret for a few years. I kept it secret because it was so special to me. It's selfish, but true. But now I'm sharing the secret.

One of the reasons I have been scarce recently is because I couldn't wrap my fingers around a post that does justice to the subject. I still haven't.

We went over the wash and through the desert and up to the top of the mountain to get to this pretty little spot. It was thick with grasses, and wildflowers, and bugs. Enough bugs to make some kids just quiver with excitement.
