Isn't Lewis a doll?  I can't believe he's 5 weeks old!  I want a little more newborn time with him now that he's growing and eating well - it's so sweet.  But, I suppose on the other hand, the rest of the family is ready for me to come fully back into my role around here.  And don't be fooled - he has an internal alarm that wakes him up if he's out of my arms for 2 minutes.  No joke.  It works like clockwork.

He's got bright blue eyes, light/blonde-ish hair, a tiny little mouth, and a powerful set of lungs.  He's perfectly content when he's eating or sleeping in my arms, but other than that, not so much.  On his 5 week birthday we got his first real, happy smiles!  So sweet!  Maybe I'll be able to capture a picture of it sometime soon.  And maybe not so blurry this time?

Ahhh, so sweet! Eat up every second you can. I painfully miss those little baby days and have a hard time accepting that they're over. I wish I could come hold him!! He is absolutely precious. Thank you for posting! You totally made my day.
