Friday

Yesterday we put on our mustaches and had a little fun.  Some of the neighborhood kids got in on it, too!  I just wish I'd thought of this idea during the long winter, because it sure bought a lot of giggles and enjoyment, and all it took was a Sharpie.

This weekend Tyler is hunting, and we are celebrating Easter.   On Sunday we'll attend church, and then have a big dinner - ham, sweet potatoes, asparagus, and more.  I'm looking forward to it, but I'm trying to meaningfully put the emphasis on remembering our Savior.  This helps.

Here are some great ideas to help you ease into reading aloud chapter books with your children.

This article about how we learn, and what kinds of information we retain was enlightening.

We made this this week, and I couldn't stop playing with it.  Always mesmerizing!

We're having a little Easter get-together with friends this morning.  I think we'll be making these after our egg dying and hunts are over.

I think this sounds like crazy fun.  As a kid, I would have been all over it!  Maybe Mademoiselle will want to come up with something to submit?

Have a wonderful weekend!
