Thursday

Oh, the dang sugar sweetness of a slumbering babe.  Makes me want to just cuddle in next to him, sigh, and nap my afternoon away.  Why oh why is he bigger every single day?  I mean, look at those mitts!  He's growing up and I can't stand it!  But it's also so exciting and fun to watch!  But it's flying by so quickly!  But, did you just ever see the cuteness of a toddler running and talking and acting grown-uppish?

Gosh, what a crazy ride this mom thing is.

I agree on all points.

And sis, I think pretty much everyone would agree that he is over the top cute. I mean scrumptiously squeezably precious. Adorable.

And sweet too.

By the way, you have my permission to blog two or three or twelve times today. I try to avoid going on your blog in the mornings because then it's such a long wait until the next one.

Obviously my impatience won this morning.

I know what you mean! (Although, honestly, #3 is the first time I've felt this way...) Miles is growing up WAY TOO FAST!

I think it happens more with later kids because you have more perspective of how quickly the time really goes by? At the beginning of having kids I felt like I had all the time in the world - a whole lifetime - ahead of me!

I think it is all about time too. When your time is divided, it blows by.

Oh, it blows by! How I long for my babies! Where are they?

On the other hand, I have these wonderful adults in my life. They remind me quite a lot of my babies, but they are wiser than they could possibly be if they were mine, and more perfect in every way.

Still, couldn't I just hold those babies one more time?
